Motionwell Automation Pte. Ltd. is one of Singapore’s leading custom automation and system integration companies. Founded in 2014, Motionwell has delivered over 100 automation projects across medical devices, aerospace, electronics, pharmaceutical, EV battery, laboratory, and logistics industries.
The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, serves as a technology partner of ARTC (Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre), and is the authorized SIASUN AGV distributor for Southeast Asia.
What We Do
Motionwell specializes in three core automation disciplines:
Machine Vision & Inspection — Keyence, Cognex, Basler, and HIKrobot vision systems for automated defect detection, dimensional measurement, barcode grading, and vision-guided robotic assembly. Delivered vision inspection systems for medical devices, sensor panel manufacturing, and pharmaceutical serialization.
Robotics Integration — ABB, FANUC, Universal Robots (cobot), Epson (SCARA), KUKA, JAKA, SIASUN AGV, MiR AMR integration. Complete robotic workcells including safety systems (ISO 13849), end-of-arm tooling, and PLC integration.
Custom Machine Design — Special purpose machines from concept to commissioning. Multi-station rotary assembly machines, automated test equipment, GMP filling and sealing lines, EV battery dismantle lines, and precision jigs and fixtures. All machines designed and manufactured in Singapore.

Our Facilities
Motionwell operates five dedicated units at 20 Woodlands Link, Singapore 738733, within the Woodlands Industrial Estate:
- Design Center (#09-07/08) — Mechanical and electrical engineering, 3D modeling (SolidWorks), simulation, and project management
- Assembly & Integration Center (#01-06) — Machine assembly, robot cell integration, vision system calibration, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
- Manufacturing Shop (#07-26, #09-35, #09-37) — CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, precision grinding, and surface treatment for custom components
All machines are designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in Singapore before delivery to customer sites. This vertically integrated approach gives Motionwell full control over quality, lead time, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Engineering Capabilities
Motionwell’s core competency covers the full automation development cycle:
- Mechanical Design & Manufacturing — Custom jigs, fixtures, gauges, pallets, alignment tools, pneumatic tools, vacuum tools, robotic EOAT, and complete machine mechanical design and build using SolidWorks
- Electrical Design & Programming — System architecture design, electrical schematics, panel layout and commissioning, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, OMRON), HMI development, and automation network design
- Software & Vision — Firmware development, vision algorithm and optical system integration, recipe management, SPC data logging, and OPC-UA/Ethernet IP/PROFINET communication
- Flexible Automation Integration — End-to-end robotic workcell design coupling robotics and machine vision based on specific process requirements

Our engineering team works directly with your operations staff from concept through commissioning. Every project includes complete documentation packages: mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, PLC program documentation, operator manuals, maintenance schedules, and spare parts lists. We provide hands-on operator training and post-commissioning support to ensure long-term maintainability.
