Motionwell integrates robots into production systems. We are not a robot dealer — we design the cell, tooling, safety system, and control logic that make a robot useful in your specific process. Our delivered projects span collaborative robots, SCARA assembly systems, industrial palletizing robots, AGV fleets, and AMR mobile platforms.
We work with ABB, Universal Robots, Epson, FANUC, KUKA, YASKAWA, SIASUN, and MiR. The robot brand is selected based on your application requirements — payload, reach, speed, precision, and environment — not the other way around.
Collaborative Robots (Cobots)
Cobots work alongside people without full safety fencing, making them practical for mixed-traffic environments and operations where operators still handle some steps manually.
What we have delivered:
- Cobot unloading stations for consumer goods handling mixed SKUs (Coca-Cola, Milo, snacks, detergent) with electromagnet quick-change EOAT that automatically switches between gripper and vacuum modes
- QA lab compound mobile robot (P23078): MiR AMR carrying a Universal Robots cobot for autonomous sample transport and Instron testing machine loading
- Cobot auto-loading cells for cleanroom ATE equipment (P23018 series) with part presence sensing and station safeguarding
Key capabilities: Custom EOAT design (gripper, vacuum, electromagnet, soft gripper), force-torque sensing, vision-guided picking, collaborative safety assessment per ISO/TS 15066.
SCARA Robots
SCARA robots excel at high-speed pick-and-place and assembly where the motion is primarily in the horizontal plane. We integrate Epson and ABB SCARA platforms for electronics, medical device, and consumer product assembly.
What we have delivered:
- ABB SCARA panel assembly for ifm (P23045) with vision-guided alignment achieving ±0.01mm repeat accuracy, vacuum EOAT, and electric screwdrivers
- Epson SCARA high-speed pick and place for medical device rotary assembly machines with OK/NG vision sorting
- Multi-station SCARA cells for consumer electronics component insertion and assembly
Key capabilities: Vision-guided alignment, vacuum and mechanical EOAT, electric screwdriver integration, force-controlled insertion, sub-second cycle times.
Industrial Robots
For applications requiring high payload, long reach, or harsh environment operation, we integrate ABB, FANUC, KUKA, and YASKAWA industrial robots.
What we have delivered:
- FANUC palletizing robots integrated with ASRS automated storage and retrieval systems for BD (Becton Dickinson) medical products, achieving 6-10 cartons/min palletizing rate
- 4-axis column palletizing robots (100-200kg payload) on heavy-duty linear tracks with rack and pinion drive for extended reach warehouse palletizing
- Multi-robot production cells for aerospace component handling with precision fixturing
Key capabilities: Palletizing programming and pattern optimization, linear track integration (up to 50m stroke), heavy-duty EOAT design, offline programming and simulation.
AGV Systems
We are the authorized SIASUN AGV distributor for Southeast Asia since 2017. AGVs follow fixed paths using magnetic tape, QR markers, or wire guidance, making them predictable and well-suited for structured environments with defined routes.
What we have delivered:
- RFID-guided AGV pallet transfer systems with chain conveyor transfer modules and automatic charging stations
- Multi-vehicle fleet coordination with traffic management and deadlock prevention
- Integration with WMS for automated material delivery triggered by production consumption
Key capabilities: SIASUN AGV platforms (authorized distributor), RFID/magnetic guidance, chain/roller conveyor transfer, automatic charging, fleet management software.
AMR Mobile Platforms
AMRs navigate autonomously using LIDAR and onboard intelligence, adapting to changing layouts and mixed traffic without infrastructure modification.
What we have delivered:
- MiR AMR integration for QA lab automation (P23078) with compound cobot for sample transport between storage racks and testing stations
- AMR fleet deployments for inter-building material transfer in manufacturing facilities
- AMR + elevator integration for multi-floor logistics
Key capabilities: MiR AMR integration (authorized partner), compound robot design (AMR + cobot), autonomous navigation in dynamic environments, fleet management and mission scheduling.
Gantry and Linear Systems
For applications requiring extended travel, high payload, or multi-axis Cartesian motion, we design and build gantry robot systems.
What we have delivered:
- Dual Z-axis gantry robot systems servicing 10+ CNC machines in parallel for automated machine tending
- Small 3-axis gantry modules (5-20kg payload) for parts transfer and station loading
- Large dual-beam gantry configurations (200-1000kg) with servo or VFD drive for heavy material handling
Key capabilities: Custom gantry design from 3-axis light duty to dual-beam heavy duty, servo and VFD drive options, up to 50m stroke, payload range 5-1000kg.

How We Select Robots for Your Application
We start from your process requirements, not from robot catalogs:
- Process analysis. What are the payload, reach, speed, precision, and environment requirements?
- Robot selection. We match the right robot type and brand to your process, considering total cost of ownership including tooling, safety, and maintenance.
- Cell design. The robot is one component. We design the complete cell: fixturing, EOAT, safety system, PLC integration, and operator interface.
- Programming and simulation. Offline programming and cycle time simulation before build, validated with real-world testing during commissioning.
- Safety assessment. Risk assessment per ISO 12100, with safety system design meeting ISO 13849 (PLd/PLe) or ISO/TS 15066 for collaborative applications.
If you have a process that you think could benefit from a robot but are not sure which type or how to approach it, describe the task and we will recommend a practical starting point.
